I’ll be hosting a one of a kind workshop focusing on the art of candle making with an emphasis on fragrance creation. Awaken and cultivate a new, more refined "sense of smell." Master the notion of Top-Middle-Base notes and learn the language that defines this industry's vocabulary and informs their palette. Amy will demonstrate and discuss tips and tricks to create beautiful candles using simple and natural ingredients including plant-based wax and phthalate-free essential oil infused fragrances.

Each student will create 2 botanical wax candles that embody seasonal scent-notes. Think cinnamon, clove, eucalyptus & pine. Hand-poured into a gift-worthy gold tin.

The first few batches of Linwood Candles came to life on my kitchen stove overlooking Linwood Avenue in Buffalo, New York. I fell in love with the process and how it demanded me to slow down. To be patient and intentional. From melting the wax, mixing the correct amount of essential oils and slowly hand-pouring each individual candle.
